Its shape is the result of the substance inherent in things. Tamashii represents the fruit of this conception, communicating its soul with both grace and strength. The aim of this project was to shatter the mindset with which one looks at a table and give dignity to the table itself. One should not differentiate between the table top and its legs, perceiving them as two distant, different elements, both formally and conceptually. One should shift the focus to the product in its entirety, to its soul. This was achieved by immersing the substance of the horizontal plane in the materiality of its vertical supports. The vertical cut of the table leg leads one to perceive the soul and essence of the top, in terms of material, favouring a unified and unambiguous understanding of the table. This combination of concept and substance offers a unique flavor to those able to appreciate the subtleties of nuance and the colors of the soul.
