Product Description

Named after the class of battleship of the USS North Carolina, the BB-55 Rocker takes cues from naval design. The forms of the base and seat reflect the curves of the hull and the bridge tower. Its steel frame transitions to walnut legs, maintaining a traditional rocking chair's interaction between wooden rockers on the floor. Black cotton webbing is woven to form the seat and backrest.

The War Craft Collection was inspired by and originally made with reclaimed teak from the decommissioned USS North Carolina. Constructed in Brooklyn's Navy Yard and one of the most decorated battleships in US naval history, its sleek, uncluttered design set a new precedent for all future ships.

  • Black cotton webbing is woven to form the seat and back
  • Powder-coated steel frame transitions to walnut rocker legs
  • Ships fully assembled
